An internal committee has been constituted within the Defence Ministry to analyse the recommendations made by the Shekatkar panel in its report, submitted to the defence minister Manohar Parrikar on December 21. This internal committee of the ministry will identify the recommendations to be accepted and to frame the key action points as well as a roadmap for their implementation.
