Minor Technical Snag, No Emergency landing, clarifies Spice Jet

Spice Jet on Friday denied reports of any emergency landing by its flight SG 136 (Bangalore – Delhi) at the Delhi airport today morning.
SpiceJet said it informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) of a technical snag after which the aircraft made an uneventful landing at the Delhi airport.
The Flight had 176 persons and all were safe. “As per procedure the crew of SG 136 had informed the ATC of a technical problem. At no stage did the crew request for any emergency or priority landing. All passengers and crew are safe. The ATC was kept in the loop by the crew all throughout,” the airlines said in a media statement.
