2 more detained for links to ISIS-style terror cell after more raids in Amroha

Two more persons have been taken into custody in connection to the alleged ISIS-style terrorist cell that was busted in raids last week. Teams of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) detained two scrap dealers from Amroha in Western Uttar Pradesh, about 140 km west of Delhi.

Wednesday’s raids follow searches carried out in Saidapura village near Amroha on Tuesday. Amroha has been dead centre of the raids since it is the hometown of 29-year-old Suhail, the alleged mastermind of the terror cell. Read More
