With 4,000 Troops On The Ground Indian Army Launches Door-To-Door Search To Flush Out Terrorists In Kashmir


With militancy and terror attacks on the rise in Kashmir, the Indian Army have launched a massive combing operation, spanning across 30 villages in Shopian district.

The search operations are conducted by a joint team of the army police and paramilitary and assisted with drones and helicopters. The door-to-door search operation is the first since it was stopped in the 1990’s. The troops asked all villagers to assemble in a common area so their homes could be searched.

Searches were carried in Heaf, Sugan, Chilipora, Malnad, Turka Wangam and other villages where residents resorted to massive stone pelting against the forces. Read More…
