Admiral Lanba on three-day farewell visit to ENC

Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) accompanied by Reena Lanba, president of the Naval Wives Welfare Association (NWWA), arrived in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday on a three-day farewell visit to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC).

The 23rd CNS Admiral Lanba will be retiring on May 31, after four decades of distinguished service. Admiral Lanba was received by vice-admiral Karambir Singh, flag officer commanding-in-chief at INS Dega. During his stay in the city, the CNS will interact with officers, sailors and defence civilians of the ENC.

He will also also embark the Eastern Fleet at sea. His experience includes tenures at sea, ashore at various headquarters, operational and training establishments as well as tri-services institutions. Read More
