Air India issues caution notice to cabin crew

Troubled with the news every now and then of crew smuggling goods from airlines, Air India has now issued a caution notice to its employees on pilferage and unlawful activities. The management makes it clear the crew isn’t allowed to take any item even from their own food tray outside the aircraft.

Time and again the management has reiterated that the management has Zero Tolerance Policy on pilferage and unlawful activities. Yet, cases of pilferage and carriage of dutiable items by cabin crew are being reported, reads the notice.

The management has now drawn up a chart on what acts will invite strict disciplinary action. India Today TV has reviewed the copy. Read more
