Annual aerospace safety council meeting held


Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, on Friday conducted its annual aerospace safety council meeting at 3-Base Repair Depot, Air Force station, Chandigarh. Air Marshal RKS Shera, Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance Command of the IAF, inaugurated the meeting while Air Marshal S Prabhakaran, director general (inspection & safety) from Air Headquarters, New Delhi, and other senior dignitaries graced the occasion.

A total of 150 experts from Air Headquarters, headquarters, Maintenance Command, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, various repair depots, equipment depots, Air Force liaison cells and other units under Maintenance Command spread across the country participated in the council meeting.

Air Vice Marshal B Manikantan, Senior Air and Admin Staff Officer, Maintenance Command, set the agenda for the meeting in his key note address. He highlighted the core concerns on aerospace safety in Maintenance Command. Read More
