Army Chief Visits To J-K Line Of Control Zones

An official reported that Army Chief General Manoj Pande visited the forward regions along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jammu and Kashmir districts of Poonch and Rajouri on Saturday and inspected the operational readiness.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) arrived in Jammu on Friday for a two-day visit and received a briefing on the current security situation, according to the official.

The Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) of the Indian Army tweeted: “General Manoj Pande, #COAS visited the forward areas of Poonch & Rajouri Sectors and reviewed the operational preparedness along Line of Control. #COAS also interacted with all ranks & exhorted them to keep working with the same zeal & enthusiasm.”
