Army hold drug de-addiction seminar at Delina

Army on Thursday organised a seminar on drug abuse at Delina in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.  In a statement here an Army spokesman said that “drug abuse is a major cause of concern in Kashmir and therefore, it is important to educate the youth about the ill effects of drug abuse. Indian Army has been undertaking consistent efforts to help the civil administration to control this menace.”

He said that the  drug de-addiction centre Baramulla, under the aegis of Dagger Division has strived to make the region drug free. “ In continuance with the efforts, a drug de-addiction seminar was conducted by the centre. The seminar was attended by more than 70 individuals,” the spokesman said. Read More
