During his keynote address at the 2018 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a veiled dig at Pakistan for its policy of promoting proxy war against India in Kashmir.
The distinction between good terrorists and bad terrorists, PM Modi said, was among the biggest challenges facing the world. Modi also expressed concern over the rising instances of children from wealthy, influential families being radicalised and joining terror outfits. He also said climate change and economic protectionism were major challenges before the world today.
“You are aware of India’s concerns (over terrorism). All governments are well aware of this challenge. I want to focus on two aspects related to this. Terrorism is dangerous, but equally dangerous is the artificial difference created between good terrorists and bad terrorists.
