Australian Air Force Plane Lands In Goa For A Naval Drill

On Monday, a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing P8A long-range maritime surveillance aircraft arrived at INS Hansa in Goa for a three-day drill with the Indian Navy. On Tuesday, the coordinated operations began.
The Indian Navy stated in a brief statement that the P-8A will conduct coordinated missions with the Indian Navy’s Boeing P-8I.
“The P-8I squadron at INS Hansa, INAS 316, will interface with and host the RAAF P8A planes.” From June 7 to 9, the RAAF P8A and P-8I aircraft will conduct coordinated anti-submarine warfare and surface surveillance operations, according to the Indian Navy.
