British Govt Seizes Dawood Ibrahim’s UK Properties

In a major diplomatic win for the Narendra Modi government, the British government seized the assets owned by fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the United Kingdom. Ibrahim is wanted in India for various acts of crime and terrorism, including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar owns a hotel in Warwickshire and other residential properties across the Midlands.

Dawood left Mumbai almost three decades ago after the Mumbai blasts in which around 260 people were killed and over 700 were injured. He is estimated to be worth $6.7 billion while rewards totalling $25million are on offer for his capture, according to Forbes business magazine. Read More…
