Chinese Fighter Planes Fly Into Taiwan’s Air Defence Zone

On Monday (August 1), Taiwan’s defence ministry announced that four Chinese fighter jets had entered its Southwest Air Defence Zone (ADZ). According to the ministry, the fighter jets were J-16 models.

Taiwan’s defence ministry announced the Chinese incursion on its official website. Taiwanese planes were on high alert, according to the information.
To monitor Chinese activity, radio warnings were issued to Chinese fighter jets, and air defence missile systems were deployed.
China considers Taiwan to be part of its territory and has not ruled out using force to seize it. Chinese fighter jets have made frequent incursions into Taiwan’s air defence zone.
