After the Supreme Court on Friday ruled out an investigation in the Rafale deal, BJP leaders launched a scathing attack on Congress and its president Rahul Gandhi on the issue. Leading the way, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that now it has been proved that the opposition’s allegations were only politically motivated and baseless.
“BJP wanted a debate on the issue in the parliament but Gandhi and Congress were more interested in shouting and making senseless comments,” Rawat said, adding that the opposition needs to apologise to the people for the misleading comments.
