Dassault-Reliance Facility At Nagpur Begins Producing Parts For Rafale; Full Manufacturing Capacity By Early 2022

The facility in Nagpur jointly operated by Reliance and Dassault Aviation has begun production and delivery of some of the major components for the Falcon 2000 LX (Rafale) executive jets that are presently being assembled in France, reports Economic Times (ET).c

Executives at the plant have noted that the production facility will be enhanced over the next three years to deliver a full-fledged Falcon aircraft by 2022.

“By early 2022, we want to assemble the complete Falcon 2000 aircraft here in Nagpur and we want to fly it out from here,” said Sampathkumaran ST, CEO of Dassault Reliance, to ET.

Currently, cockpit and fuel tank parts for the aircraft are being manufactured at Nagpur. Read More
