Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Thanks Shah Rukh Khan For Lending Support To Indian Soldiers


Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan received a token of appreciation from the Defence Ministry of India for lending support to Indian soldiers. The ministry is celebrating Armed Forces Week to pay tribute to the border front heroes.

The actor on Thursday shared a picture of thank you note received from Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s office.

Acknowledging the actor’s support and as a token of appreciation the Defense Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman sent a heartfelt note to the actor. The note reads, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for supporting the Armed Forces Flag Day awareness campaign and spreading the message to your widespread audience. Thank you best of luck for the future.”

The actor expressed his gratitude to the forces as he thanked the defence minister for the gesture.

He wrote on his social media handle, “Thank u Ma’m @nsitharaman for the opportunity. This is the least we can do for our Armed Forces.Will convey ur msg to the whole team. Jai Hind”.

Shah Rukh along with his team had not only spoken about the sacrifices made by soldiers, but also the contribution of the armed forces in the well being of the country.

The actor expressed his support by sharing a picture of his team and himself standing together paying their respect for the Armed forces.
