Dussehra On Terror Target: Team Of Four Terrorists From Bangladesh Planning To Attack North Bengal

The Indian intelligence agencies have received inputs that a team of four terrorists from Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh are planning to target civilians in North Bengal on the occasion of Dussehra. According to intelligence inputs, two terrorists have already crossed into India and the remaining two are supposed to reach today.

They are planning to target Siliguri which is the gateway of North East India and is also one of the fastest growing metropolises of West Bengal, Jalpaiguri, an important trade center of West Bengal and Alipurduar.

Security agencies have already been warned and the administration has been informed about the same. According to sources, the militant outfit might have support from Pakistan and this group, though not that large, is highly active in the region. Read more
