Fearing encounters, terrorists switch to grenade attacks in J-K

Following the elimination of several top commanders of various terror organisations in encounters with security forces, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir have switched over to tossing grenades at security forces.

A series of attacks have been reported in the Kashmir valley in the past one week – all involving grenades. Terrorists have been tossing grenades on security forces and their camps before quickly making their escape instead of getting involved in encounters.

More than 252 terrorists, including top A++ category terrorists, were eliminated in encounters last year as a result of which the spine of the terror organisations has been broken. Read More
