Foolish To Believe That Pakistan Or Its Army Are Moving Towards Peace

Around 15 days back, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had said that he was of the view that all long pending disputes between India and Pakistan should be resolved peacefully, sitting across the table.

More recently, India’s Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also gave a statement that India will take any peace proposal from the Pakistani side very seriously. T

his gives an indication that the Indian political mastersare once again falling for Pakistani ruse for peace and just do not want to learn from the past history of Pakistan and its propensity to speak lies. We give an impression that if Pakistan dangles an olive branch in front of us we will just jump to grab it.

  • Please take Gen Bajwa’s Peace offer seriously. Ask any soldier of either nation and they will tell you that they are sick and tired of endless hours of sitting in remote areas of Siachen and Kashmir. these skirmishes happen to break the monotony, not to kill one another, Its the politicians on both sides who get elected on Bodgey man platform. If these nations can play cricket and hockey, why not re-start Janab Vajpayee Sahib and Fen Musharraf dialogue. Both deserve a Nobel Peace Prize more than some of the recent recipients, including Malala and her Indian cohort. I am a Pashtun, I can tell you Mala attack was what we call, “a Topi Drama,” staged by a superpower in which a poor girl became a victim. What is lacking is open-mind and critical thinking, which Gandhiji and Quaid-i-Azam had tons, had it not for extremists on both sides and the British colonialist. Would it not be great that a time comes when Defence Aviation is used against alleviating airborne diseases than killing humans.
