Fraud detected at Jet airways leads to MCA issuing LOC against Naresh Goyal, wife Anita Goyal

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued a look out circular (LOC) against Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal and his wife Anita Goyal after a fraud was detected at the airline, sourced told CNBC-TV18 on Monday.

Sources had earlier told CNBC-TV18 that the MCA and Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) had issued a LOC against Goyal and his wife based on which they were detained by the immigration department in Mumbai on Saturday.

It is learnt that Goyals were travelling for London via Dubai. From Mumbai, they were to board an Emirates flight EK 507, which was going to Dubai. The couple was released on Sunday after their documents were checked. Read  more
