Govt Probe Under Way After 2 IndiGo Planes Avoid Collision In Bengaluru Airspace


Two IndiGo planes came dangerously close to colliding in the airspace above Bengaluru on Tuesday, sources said. Now, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is now investigating what it considers to be a very serious incident.

The sources said the two planes, 6E 779 (Coimbatore-Hyderabad) and 6E 6505 (Bengaluru-Kochi), were hardly 4 nautical miles (approximately 7 km) from each other, and were separated by a vertical distance of 200 feet
