Helipad at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai? All you need to know


Travelling within the suburbs of Mumbai city is not an easy-peasy task as the density of road traffic shoots up in peak hours. The roads connecting the prime locations of Mumbai such as Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Central Mumbai, Vikhroli, Powai, Andheri East, Malad, Goregaon, Lower Parel, Churchgate and Navi Mumbai, often get stuck due to the limited bandwidth of the roads. The city administration plans several initiatives to lessen the possibilities of traffic jams and with which the travel time can be reduced.

According to a Times of India report, a helipad might be constructed in Bandra-Kurla Complex which can be utilised in emergencies by corporates, politicians and government agencies.  Read More
