Over 400 Army personnel and multiple units of Air Force and Navy have arrived in Russia to participate in the first ever India-Russia Tri-Services war games. The 10-day mega military exercise named Indra will primarily focus on achieving coordination between forces of the two countries in a tri-services integrated theatre command scenario.
The military exercise will be conducted at the 249th Combined Army Range Sergiyevisky and in the Sea of Japan near Vladivostok.
The military exercise, to be held in Russia, will mark a “a landmark event in the history of Indo-Russian defence cooperation”, the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
“The joint tri-service exercise will be a demonstration of the increasing commitment of both nations to address common challenges across the full spectrum of operations,” the statement added. Read More…
