India-UK Defense Consultative Group Meeting Is Co-chaired By The Defence Secretary

On Tuesday in London, Ajay Kumar and David Williams, the British defence secretary, co-chaired the India-UK Defence Consultative Group (DCG) meeting.
The two addressed defence and industrial collaboration, a statement from the ministry of defence, and they examined the development of service-level bilateral groups and other defence cooperation institutions.
The national security adviser Ajit Doval met with his then-UK colleague Stephen Lovegrove in July to explore collaboration in the areas of cyber, maritime, Indo-Pacific, regional security, and countering violent extremism.
With an emphasis on the Atmanirbhar Bharat programme, they carried up conversations that had previously taken place between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his then counterpart, Boris Johnson. They also discussed cooperation in the technology and defence industries.
