Indian Army Issues Recruitment Notice For Agniveers Amid Protests Against Agnipath Scheme

INDIAN ARMY AGNIVEERS RECRUITMENT 2022: SELECTION PROCESS

Under the Agnipath programme, the candidates would be chosen through an Army recruitment rally. Admit cards provided to candidates’ email addresses will contain information regarding the date, time, and location of the recruitment rally. At the rally location, they will also need to take a physical fitness test, which will be followed by a physical measurement.

The applicants will then undergo a medical examination there at the rally location. Those who have been deemed medically fit must take the Common Entrance Examination (CET). Candidates’ admit cards will contain information about the exam’s date and timing.

INDIAN ARMY AGNIVEERS RECRUITMENT 2022: SALARY

Candidates who are chosen successfully will join the Indian Army for a service length of four years, including the training phase. Candidates who are hired will receive salaries of Rs 30,000 in the first year, Rs 33,000 in the second, Rs 36,500 in the third, and Rs 40,000 in the fourth year. Additionally, they will receive any necessary allowances.

Every month, candidates must deposit close to 30% of their earnings into a corpus that will get matching funds from the Indian government. The Agniveers will receive Rs. 10,04 lakh with accrued interest as part of the Seva Nidhi Package following the conclusion of their four years of service.
