Indian Military Lands In Sri Lanka

A 159 strong Indian military delegation have arrived in Sri Lanka while a 162 member team of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces left to India, the Army media unit said today.

The High Commissioner of India in Sri Lanka Taranjit Singh Sandhu and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake were at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport to see the arrival and the departure of both delegations.

The Indian delegation which includes Army (95), Navy (32) and Air Force (32) personnel will be in Sri Lanka from 15 – 18 June. They will visit places of tourist interest in the hill capital and the South before they return to India on Tuesday (18). Read more
