Indian Navy Chief visits Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang


Chief of Indian Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba on Wednesday visited the forward areas of Tawang Sector on Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Admiral, while on a short tour was updated on the security situation along Northern Boarders in the areas of Tawang Garrison in presence of Maj Gen Rajesh Kumar Jha, General Officer Commanding, Ball of Fire Division.

Admiral Lanba, who is also the chairman, chief of Staff Committee was accompained by Reena Lanba for the two day tour.

During his interaction with troops, he lauded their efforts towards ensuring Peace & Tranquility along Line of Actual Control, besides enhancing image of the Armed Forces amongst local populace by means of required Samaritan activities. Read More
