Kalyani’s JV Facility On Missile Sub-Systems With Rafael Advanced Defense Systems To Begin Operations in Hyderabad On August 3

In a major push to the Make in India programme, the new joint venture facility of Baba Kalyani led Kalyani Strategic Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems at Hyderabad is being inaugurated on August 3.

The new facility — Kalyani Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is for manufacturing of missile sub-systems.

Rafael develops and manufactures advanced defense systems for the Israeli defense forces and the defense establishment, as well as for foreign customers around the world. It is among the top defence firms in Israel.

Bharat Forge has been a key supplier of components to the Indian defence establishment for over 30 years.

It had earlier stated that it would focus on capturing opportunity arising out of Make in India initiative of the government through supply of critical components in both defense and aerospace sector.
