Lufthansa To Launch Frankfurt-Austin Flights, Targeting US-bound Travellers From India

Lufthansa will launch a new direct flight from Frankfurt to Austin, Texas, on May 3, 2019 which will offer good connection for travellers from Indian cities, including Chennai, to fly to the US city.

Lufthansa will offer five weekly flights from Frankfurt Airport to Austin – Bergstrom International Airport. With this new flight, Austin will become the German carrier’s third destination in Texas, following daily service to Dallas and Houston.

Lufthansa will operate an Airbus A330-300 in a three class cabin configuration offering customers 42 seats in business class, 28 seats in premium economy, and 185 seats in economy class. Flights will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Flights arriving from India will connect to LH468 departing from Frankfurt at 10:05am and arriving in Austin at 2:20pm. Read More
