Mumbai Airport to close for runways’ repair: 240 flights will be canceled daily from Mumbai airport!

Both runways of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport will be closed from February 7 to March 30 for repair and maintenance following which on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, during the aforementioned period, the runways will be non-operational for six hours.

With the partial closure of runways for 22 days, about 240 planes are expected to be canceled every day, and there will be a likely change in the routes of many aircrafts. The passengers travelling to and from Mumbai airport are expected to face disruption.

During this period, the routes and timings of some international and domestic flights will be changed. The passengers of the canceled flights will be refunded during the period and, if possible, will be allowed to travel in another aircraft, Mumbai Airport spokespersons said. Read More
