Nadda, Sinha To Flag Off Kullu-Chandigarh Flight


Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha will inaugurate the Air India flight on Kullu-Chandigarh sector tomorrow.

With the introduction of this flight, Kullu town will be connected to Chandigarh as well as Delhi. In a statement issued here today Nadda said that since the hill state is a major tourist destination with lots of foreign tourists thronging the state, it is very important for the state to have a robust state-of-the-art air connectivity. Nadda mentioned that adequate connectivity and affordable airfare are two critical issues confronting aviation sector effectiveness in Himachal Pradesh.
