Naval Officers And German Delegates Discuss The Indo-pacific

- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the significance of an Indo-Pacific region that is free, open, and inclusive.
- The delegation went to the Naval Heritage Museum and the Indian Navy's main battleship, INS Trikand. The German delegation's four members also went to the Naval Dockyard.
On Thursday, Jürgen Hardt, a member of the German Bundestag, led a delegation from the German Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) foundation to the crucial Indian Navy’s Western Naval Command (WNC).
“During the tour, Jürgen spoke with Vice Adm Ajendra Bahadur Singh, Flag Officer Commander in Chief (FOCinC), WNC and addressed many matters of mutual interest, including challenges in the Indo-Pacific and the global arena,” the Indian Navy stated in its official statement.
The Navy said, “The CinC highlighted the potential afforded by Make in India for global business & industry leaders to collaborate/invest in Indian growth and pointed out the Hon’ble PM’s vision of SAGAR.
