Newly built Coast Guard Ship C441 to be commissioned at Vizhinjam

The newly built Coast Guard Vessel, ICGS C-441 will be commissioned into the service at Vizhinjam Harbour on Wednesday. The ship will be commissioned by Tom Jose, Chief Secretary of Kerala, at 0930 hrs in a ceremonial function. Inspector General Vijay D Chafekar, PTM,TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (West) Mumbai will be present during the event.

A number of State and Central senior officials, senior officers from Army, Navy and Air Force in addition to coast guard officials are expected to witness the auspicious occasion. Read More
