All eyes are on Parliament on Friday as the BJP-led government faces a no-confidence motion moved by the TDP and supported by other Opposition parties.
This is the first time that the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government is facing such a motion. While notices were moved by Opposition MPs in the last budget session, the Speaker did not grant leave for them to be taken up, as the support of 50 members could not be ascertained due to protests in the well of the House.
