On January 15 Of Next Year, Bengaluru Will Host A Historic Army Day Parade

The Army Day Parade will take place in Bengaluru the following year as part of efforts to move big events outside of the national capital region.

Every year on January 15, Army Day is observed to commemorate the day in 1949 when the first Indian officer assumed command of the Indian Army.

“Bengaluru will host the following Army Day parade on January 15, 2023. The Army Day parade would move outside of the national capital for the first time ever “an Army representative said.

The Indian Air Force held its Air Force Day parade and flypast in Chandigarh as part of the activities carried out in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directions to mark national and military events outside of Delhi.

The wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial took place the day before Air Force Day on October 7 due to the site change. The officials stated that the Army would do the same.
