‘PM’s J&k Development Package Is Set To Cross Rs 1 Lakh Crore,’ Says Rajnath Singh


The Prime Minister’s development package for Kashmir “is set tocross Rs 1 lakh crore due to cost escalation “, said home minister Rajnath Singh on Monday.

“The worst affected groups in Kashmir are the youth, businessmen, workers and the poor. Terrorism has adversely affected the tourism sector. The Centre will run a special tourism drive for Kashmir to promote tourism in the state,” said Rajnath.

The Union minister urged tourists from around the country to visit Kashmir, adding that the situation is improving in the Valley. He was addressing mediapersons during the course of his four-day visit to the state, and said he’s already visited the state five times this year. Read More…
