President, PM Likely To Get Their Own Planes By 2020

Indian President, Vice-President and Prime Minister will enjoy the luxury of their own planes by 2020. Earlier, whenever a VVIP visited overseas, the government borrowed Boeing 747 from Air India. But the scenario is now going to change with the procurement of two new Boeing 777-300ERs by Air India.

According to a senior government official, “India’s first set of brand new planes for the Prime Minister, President and Vice-President will be customised and be ready for use by early 2020”. Read More…
