Rajnath Singh reviews cyclone Vayu preparations

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reviewed the preparedness of Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard (ICG) to deal with cyclone Vayu and expressed satisfaction over it.

The Raksha Mantri reviewed IN and ICG preparations for response to Vayu cyclone and conveyed his satisfaction. He continues to monitor the situation,” Defence Ministry spokesperson Col Aman Anand said.

Meanwhile, the Indian Navy also reviewed all preparatory actions in coordination with State/ Civil administration of Gujarat for ‘Vayu’. The Western Naval Command, Mumbai is closely monitoring the developing situation, an Indian Navy spokesperson said.
