Russia Will Not Use Nuclear Weapons In Ukraine: Sergei Lavrov
The remarks, made in an interview with India Today television on Tuesday, are among the most definitive from a senior Russian official on the subject, despite the fact that Lavrov isn’t directly responsible for military decisions.
Western intelligence experts have warned that if Russia’s invasion of its southern neighbour continues to fail, it may resort to tactical or other restricted nuclear weapons from its arsenal.
Lavrov stated in the interview that Russia’s military action has reached a new phase and will continue. Ukraine claimed that the Kremlin launched a new onslaught in the Donbas region overnight.
