Security Forces Gun Down Two Naxals Involved In Killing Of Chhattisgarh BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi


A team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel gunned down two naxals allegedly involved in the killing of BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi and his four security personnel on 9 April 2019.

The action took place after a skirmish erupted at around 5.30 am at a forest in Daurikakra village in Chhattisgarh, while the DRG was out on an anti-naxal operation, reports The Times of India.

After the firing had stopped, the bodies of two naxals and a .315 bore gun were recovered from the spot, while another injured naxal was found who was then shifted to a local hospital. Read More
