Soon, flyers can use facial recognition biometric to enter airports

Flyers could soon avoid ethe hassle to find ID cards before entering airports. Now, in a relief to travels, to be able to enter airports in the country, facial recognition biometric would be mandatory. The new system would be launched under the government’s Digi Yatra initiative.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) that operates the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), has successfully conducted the trial of  facial recognition technology.
