SpiceJet says recruited about 1,000 Jet Airways staff, will hire more

SpiceJet has hired about 1,000 Jet Airways staff and will offer jobs to more people as and when required, said chairman Ajay Singh in an interview to CNBC-TV18.

“These planes will need people to fly them and who better to fly them than people who are already trained to do it,” Singh said. “They are excellent professionals and we are happy to have them on board.”
