The United States Joins With India, Japan, Auatralia And South Korea To Protect The Sovereignty Of The Indo-Pacific: Pompeo


The statement comes after the joint naval exercises of the United States, Japan, the Philippines and India took place in the South China Sea dispute. The naval exercise provoked a harsh reaction from China, which said that “policies and actions” in the region should maintain peace and stability instead of undermining them.

The US Secretary of State UU., Mike Pompeo, speaking at the Clermont Institute, said the United States cooperates with Australia, India, Japan and South Korea in an attempt to guarantee the sovereignty of each Indo-Pacific nation from what he called ” coercion”.

“We are joining with like-minded nations such as Australia, India, Japan and South Korea to make sure that every Indo-Pacific nation can protect its sovereignty from coercion,” Pompeo quoted the Times of India as saying. Read More
