Members of Indian Air Force’s ‘Air Warrior Symphony Orchestra’ from Jalahalli and the United States’s Air Force’s ‘Band of the Pacific’ jammed together on the second day of Aero India, 2019, playing scintillating fusion music. This was the first time the two bands played together even as the Su-30 Mki and Rafales soared over the skies.
On the first day of the Air Show the two bands played separately, they decided to join together on the second day. Staff Sergeant Andrew Clemenson of the United States Air Force said that the two teams while having lunch came up with the idea to have a blast together. “While we are a rock pop band, we decided to try our hand at the Indian classical music and it turned out to real fun,” Clemenson said.
The US Air Force band comprises full-time active musicians performing in the Western Pacific region in support of military and community relations objectives. Read More
