-Mike Pence tells SpiceJet CMD Ajay Singh that the SpiceJet-Boeing deal was extensively discussed in the Modi-Trump meeting. 

-Pence further informed that he was invited by the PM to visit India which he has accepted

-Pence expressed a desire to visit the SpiceJet office during his India visit

-Mr Ajay Singh gifted a SpiceJet aircraft model to Mr Pence for President Trump. The VP promised that he will send a photo of the President with the aircraft model in the Oval Office

-He thanked SpiceJet for the more than 100 airplanes order and thousands of high value jobs that this order would create in the US

-“I know that American companies are going to continue to give India’s aviation industry the wings it needs to soar.  And let me just take the opportunity, as the President did yesterday, to say thank you to SpiceJet for investing and believing in American workers and American businesses,” Pence said.
