Vice President Venkaiah Naidu advises defence minister Rajnath Singh to complete defence projects in Andhra Pradesh

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday advised defence minister Rajnath Singh to take a personal interest in expediting defence projects in Andhra Pradesh. The foundation stones for the projects were laid when Naidu was serving as a union minister. The Vice President also wanted that impediment, if any, should be removed in the execution of the projects.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh called on the Vice President in Delhi and apprised him about the activities of the defence ministry. He also informed him about the progress of various defence projects being implemented in the country, including in Andhra Pradesh.

The projects discussed during the Defence minister’s meeting with the Vice President included BEL’s Advanced Night Vision Devices Factory at Nimmakuru in Krishna district. Read More
