Will take action, says Union aviation minister after Andhra MLA’s son cuts off water supply to Tirupati airport

After Tirupati deputy mayor Abhinaya Reddy, son of Andhra Pradesh MLA B Karunakar Reddy, allegedly cut off the water supply to Tirupati airport and staff residential quarters, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M Scindia said necessary action would be taken.

On Twitter, the Union minister wrote that the issue would be examined and the passengers and staff at the airport would not face any further inconvenience.

Jyotiraditya M Scindia wrote, “We will examine the issue at our end and take necessary action. Passengers and staff at the airport will not face any further inconvenience.”

Earlier, Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao had written to Jyotiraditya Scindia seeking a “high level” probe into the “condemnable” incident.
