Work Begins For PM Modi: List Of Foreign Visits Gets Drawn Up To Strengthen Diplomatic Relations


Having won an unprecedented second mandate in the just culminated Lok Sabha elections, the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is set to return as PM. And, what await him already are a list of foreign visits for the rest of the year including meetings with Presidents of Russia, United States, China and France, reports Economic Times.

In June, PM Modi will be attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and G-20 summit. Following this, he will head to Paris where he will be attending the G-7 summit as an invitee.

In the G-20 summit to be held in Osaka in Japan, PM Modi is also expected to meet US President Donald Trump where differences over trade and Iranian geopolitics could come up for discussions.

PM Modi and Trump along with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe are also expected to meet in the second Japan-America-India or JAI format on the sidelines of the G-20 summit. Read More
